Hermes Mail Assistant

Hermes Mail Assistant is a personal automation tool that connects to the owner's own email account through Google's Gmail API. It is not a commercial product, has no other users, and is not distributed or offered to the public.

It performs three jobs for its owner:

• Triage — reads message headers (sender, subject, date) to separate wanted mail from marketing and delivery notifications.
• Cleanup — moves unwanted mail out of the inbox by removing the Inbox label. Messages are never permanently deleted.
• Notify — sends its owner a short summary, by chat message, of new mail that appears to need attention.

All processing runs locally on the owner's own machine. No data is sent to any third party, and nothing is sold, shared, or used for advertising.
